A new arrival on the Turkish airline market, IndiGo has just launched its cargo activities between Istanbul (IST) and New Delhi (DEL) via its new GSA, Globe Air Cargo Turkey – which becomes the first GSA to represent the airline in that country.
Founded in August 2006, Indian airline IndiGo has very quickly become the leading player in India, with a market share of 49.9% in April 2019.

This exponential growth means that the low-cost airline now serves 55 domestic destinations and 18 international destinations via the 1400 flights it operates on a daily basis with its fleet of 233 aircraft.
“IndiGo is an incredibly dynamic airline, and we’re delighted to be able to contribute to its growth by representing the airline in Turkey. We are in total sync with IndiGo and, naturally, we will do all we can to develop the airline’s cargo revenue, in particular via the interlinked network to which we belong” said Nursel Guven, managing director of Globe Air Cargo Turkey.
The GSSA – a subsidiary of ECS Group – can rely on an extensive worldwide sales network to market IndiGo’s cargo capacities across all of the airline’s Indian and international destinations.

DECATHLON ROLLS OUT PARCEL LOCKERS IN BELGIUM

Sports retailer Decathlon is working with bpost subsidiary Cubee to roll out parcel collection lockers at its stores in Belgium. The sports retailer and bpost are introducing collection points at 12 stores across Belgium by the end of 2019. The first points will be at stores in Maasmechelen and Olen, with Antwerp and Wavre to follow in the short term. The machine in the car park of the Maasmechelen store has 58 individual lockers. Built by Cubee, the technology allows customers to collect and return online orders from certain internet shops. Customers are sent an email or SMS with the collection code once the courier places the order in the Cubee parcel machine. In the future, Decathlon wants to use the machines to offer a same-day click and collect service. Saudia Cargo has successfully provided all its logistical capabilities to bring the WWE wrestling ring equipment of the show that were forwarded by Sound Moves via Saudia Cargo freighters Share by  Logistics Middle East Staff Wed 12 Jun 2019 04:13 PM Saudi Airlines Cargo Company transported 175 Tons of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) equipment all the way to Jeddah, from Maastricht in the Netherlands for the WWE event that took place at King Abdullah Sports City in June. Saudia Cargo has successfully provided all its logistical capabilities to bring the WWE wrestling ring equipment of the show that were forwarded by Sound Moves via Saudia Cargo freighters.
