Following the success of the inaugural edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS) in 2018, organisers Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) have announced that UAE-based boat manufacturer Al Suwaidi Marine (ASM), will support the event’s upcoming October 2019 edition as returning Official Gold Sponsor.
At ADIBS 2018, which attracted more than 21,000 visitors from across the world, ASM launched the ASM 29 F boat. The company now plans to exhibit the ASM 29 F, ASM 34 F and ASM 37 C boats, as well as the Limo Sea 46 C and Limo Sea 46 O at the upcoming second edition of the luxury yacht and leisure marine industry event, which will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 16 to 19 October 2019.
ASM’s efforts to develop strong business relationships in the GCC region have resulted in its signing a dealership agreement with Yamaha Kuwait since the show, and as Official Gold Sponsor of ADIBS 2019, the company will return to reveal its latest launches to the public on-site at the show.
Saeed Al Mansoori, executive director, IDEX LLC at ADNEC, said: “We are proud to announce Al Suwaidi Marine as the Official Gold Sponsor for the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2019. Last year’s event was a major success, which attracted more than 21,000 visitors from across the world, as well as 270 exhibitors from 25 countries. We are looking forward to creating a bigger and grander show this year, drawing more international visitors and exhibitors with a passion for boating, while benefitting leisure marine businesses in the UAE capital.”
Mohammed Al Suwaidi, chairman of ASM, said: “ADIBS underscores the very best that the boating industry has to offer. We are pleased to support this event as Official Gold Sponsor and remain confident that the second edition of the event will open doors to a new world of boating and leisure marine in the UAE and bring promising business opportunities to benefit the players in the maritime sector in 2019 and beyond.”
ASM is the first UAE company to have obtained membership status with the US-based National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and is working towards full certification, based on a history of serving clients in the Middle East.
Organised by ADNEC, ADIBS 2018 brought together local and international visitors, ranging from leisure marine industry professionals and stakeholders to families.
The 2019 edition of the much-anticipated boat show will provide a unique platform for local and international exhibitors to showcase their latest range of products and services to a discerning audience of high net-worth individuals.
Visitors can look forward to an impressive display of breath-taking luxury yachts from UAE and international manufacturers, purchase t leisure marine equipment, and shop for the latest in fishing boats and modern fishing equipment plus enjoy watersports, entertainment and other attractions.
Abu Dhabi International Boat Show aims to reinforce Abu Dhabi’s growing marine tourism potential whilst promoting the UAE capital as a global hub for the leisure marine industry.
