SPEEDEL APPOINTS NORTHERN HIVE TO DELIVER PR & MARKETING STRATEGY



International logistics firm, Speedel, has appointed Northern Hive as its public relations and inbound marketing agency following an expansion of its courier services portfolio.
The Leicestershire based company has briefed the Manchester and Leeds based agency with developing online and social media content and implementing an inbound marketing strategy.
Speedel provides dedicated sameday courier services to companies in sectors including aerospace, healthcare and retail. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the company specialises in urgent and business-critical deliveries. The company recently launched European, international and on-board courier services creating a global courier services offering.
“We are glad to have partnered with Northern Hive to support our marketing strategy. The excellent team has already got to know our business well and delivered on the early campaign goals we established. We look forward to working with them on a number of new and exciting projects moving forward” says Shiraz Sidat, Operations Manager at Speedel.
Despite Northern Hive only recently opening its doors officially, the communications and inbound agency has enjoyed a flurry of new client wins. The agency combines traditional public relations and communications services with inbound and content marketing.

Saudia's cargo unit adds two planes to fleet

Two new B747-400 freighters increases fleet to 15; will be used in cargo charter market The cargo unit of Saudi Arabian Airlines is expanding its dedicated fleet with the arrival of two B747-400 freighters. Saudia Cargo's latest additions will form part of its 15-strong fleet, the carrier said in a statement. Of these aircraft, 12 will be used for Saudia's scheduled services to 27 freighter destinations worldwide, while its charter business will benefit from three dedicated B747 freighters. Steven Peter Scholten, vice-president Commercial at Saudia Cargo, said: "A 15-strong fleet with 12 aircraft being utilised for scheduled services, while the 3 dedicated charter aircraft will offer our clients more capacity in the ad-hoc charter market.
